From Forbes

“If you’re eager to play the next Call Of Duty game—the World War II-themed Vanguard—you don’t have long to wait. While the game officially launches on November 5th, there will be several Alpha and Beta demos prior to release. The first of these kicks off this weekend and focuses on the new Champion Hill multiplayer mode.”

From PressStart

“September’s Free PlayStation Plus Games Look To Have Been Revealed. September’s PlayStation Plus games look to have leaked ahead of PlayStation’s official announcement. As reported by OzBargain (courtesy of Dealabs), Overcooked: All You Can Eat will be the PS5 game whilst Hitman 2 and Predator Hunting Grounds will be available for both PS4 and PS5 owners. Hitman 2 should provide access to Hitman 3 on PS5 potentially for at least the Hitman 2 levels, so that could mean a second PS5 game technically.

PLAYSTATION PLUS GAMES SEPTEMBER 2021
Overcooked: All You Can Eat (PS5)
Hitman 2 (PS4/PS5)
Predator Hunting Grounds (PS4/PS5)

September’s PS Plus games should be live in the first few days of September. You’ve still got at least a couple of days to get August’s Free PlayStation Plus Games. As a reminder, these include the below:
Hunter’s Arena: Legends (PS5)
Plants VS. Zombies: Battle For Neighborville (PS4/PS5)
Tennis World Tour 2 (PS4/PS5) “

From TheVerge

“Sony’s new PS5 model is lighter and doesn’t need a screwdriver. Sony has quietly launched a revised PS5 model. Press Start, an Australian-based gaming site, reports that the revised PS5 models include a new screw for the base stand that no longer requires a screwdriver. Sony reportedly swapped in a new screw with a grip around the top so it can be easily adjusted by hand. Press Start also reports that these updated PS5 models are around 300 grams (0.6 pounds) lighter than the original, but it’s not clear what Sony has removed or changed to bring the weight down. The new PS5s ship with a CFI-1102A model number, instead of the CFI-1000 found on the original. Australia appears to be one of the first countries to take stock of these slightly revised PS5 models, after they were spotted in a Japanese manual last month. They also appear to be shipping in some parts of the US, too. Twitter user bdp2007 has tweeted photos of what looks like updates to the overall stand, with a new clamp design.” .

I'll have a harder time finding a coin in my wallet than finding a screwdriver in my house to install the stand that is how broke I've become.

The Delta fan present in the CFI-1100 revision is NOT new, it's the same fan that was present along with 2 other types (the noisy Nidec with 17 blades one, also called the UFO sounding fan, and the one that we saw in the official teadown, French website Les Numériques even reported on this on launch a year ago). And NO in Austin's video the two fans did NOT have the same amount of blades, one is the Nidec and the other one is the Delta, which was becoming dominant in terms of recurrence on the market even before this new revision PS5 came out.

Man you talk like anyone has a choice about picking between the new models and the launch models… there’s barley any launch models now you really think people are going to wait another year and a half over something being 5 degrees hotter…

I got lucky and got a 3070 thru Evga's queue system. I can play any modern game just fine on my pc. Right now, I'm good on the ps5. There aren't enough games only on the system for me to justify buying it. I'd like to have one in the future, but rn seems like a bad time to buy one. Personally, I'm just going to wait at least until the ps5 gets a slim refresh model. Most likely I'll wait till the ps5 has been on the market for like 5 years and get a new model with tons of cheap used games after they've been out for a while. It just seems stupid to pay over MSRP for a system that doesn't have alot of games currently exclusive to it. I got the xbox one in 2014 and regretted it so much. The system was such a letdown. I hope this model of ps5 doesn't have any major issues in the long term.
