We pay $90/month (first 6 months) then $110/month afterwards and we haven’t really gotten internet from the wifi itself so we had to go and bought a 400gb hotspot as our main wifi (it ran out). So we are stuck with 1mbps download and upload.

What happened to “nbn100 = 100mbps” biggest ripoff don’t ever get Telstra I thought dodo was bad but this is just a whole new league.

literally there is no difference between the wifi speed. even when there was no such thing as nbn, the wifi was still horribly slow.

Ahh the mighty Telstra. Useless, confusing and over complicated rubbish. Makes a 1st world country stoop down to a 3rd world country status with how useless they are. Crash on the Bruce highway in QLD and need to make a life saving phone call as you slowly burn to death in a vehicle? No worries, Telstra will have no service for most of all of the stretch of the main highway, just so you will die without being able to call for help. You guys are absolute trash

My thing won’t send a signal to connect other devices

This thing is crap. My internet is now as slow as a wet week and this so-called 'smart' modem frequently stops working for several minutes at a time.
I'm pretty sure there should be some indication of where all kinds of goods, including electronic equipment, is manufactured, but there is no such thing to be found anywhere on this piece of junk. Still, I can guess where it comes from.

I'm damned if I know what's going on here. The instruction booklet says to plug the telephone line into the bottom left socket, while this video says to plug it into the red socket. Which is it, Telstra? Neither option works. And where is the bloody on/off switch anyway? There isn't one.

Well, I've now got the internet back after more than three weeks without it, but still no telephone despite everything being connected up correctly. 'Try turning it off, waiting a few minutes, then turning it back on' is pretty unhelpful advice considering there is no on/off switch anywhere on the damned thing.

I would like to know what are you talking about? Lately, I never know what I'm getting from Telstra I don't have an NBN box in my unit but I have the brick router! Once upon a time, Telstra was good not now. What I get a lot is phone calls from hackers and I would like to know how they got my silent phone number in India or the Philippines?

People should be paying foe what they get, not paying $90/month for 10mbps at best, Telstra is dog shit, "best network in Australia", ya sure bout that?

If you want to experience the worst customer service on this planet then try (1) to speak to "we are here to help" customer service rep by phone, and (2) try to "Live Chat" with a Telstra support service rep. Both of these are purposely designed to make them IMPOSSIBLE tasks to undertake. Further supported by Telstra "Team Members" who really don't give a rats arse about the customer. This is what happens when a monopoly exists!

How is the red end plugged into the modem and the yellow end into the NBN box when they are in different locations??

This device is pure garbage. I can't even reach half of the speed I'm paying when I'm using this device. I'm on a premium plan and I can't even get to 20mbps on his device. I'm using my own router and not this garbage. the only reason I'm not {YET) throwing this device in the bin is because of the emergency mobile internet.
