Heat softens the hardened paint, BUT not too much.

Lighter fluid will clean up and loosen the dried paint as well. Just wash your hands thoroughly after using it if you're a smoker.

I have tubes of oil paint that are 20 years old. They are dry and hard, but the paints are small tubes of Windsor & Newton. Do you have a video that shows how to bring these old and gorgeous paints back to life?

Vaseline not good idea. If it gets in oil paint, it never oxidizes. Disaster.
