How to make your phone ring for longer, Telstra phone,

The Code is **61*101**30# (This is for 30 seconds). Anything below that, you can enter it in by replacing the 30 with your amount in SECONDS. The highest is 30 seconds and lowest is about 10 or 5.. but that is a very low number!

Why do you this code in the writing section **61*101**30# and this code on the phone **61*101*30# on the phone?

YES IT WORKS FOR A FEW WEEKS UNTIL TELSTRA DECIDES TO CHANGE IT ALL BACK WITHOUT ASKING. VERY FRUSTRATING

God I hope this works. I've been trying to make my phone ring longer for ages. Who designs these mobiles that they don't have this feature in settings? The USA calls hashtags pounds. WTF. When are they going to go metric? So I'll soon see if it works.

Yes yes it worked for me and I’m a senior! The number that came up on the screen was +61101. So I called 101 as +61 is area code for Australia…test. Got 7 rings. So much better than 3. And with the corona virus none would instruct me from my telephone service…young man you make your grandmother proud.

Beau-gus! Not effective in US in 2019 with Verizon. I wanted my rings shortened to 0 seconds because I'm tired of all the spoofed calls I am getting. Or better 0 rings for non_contacts 15 -20 seconds for contacts. Seems nobody is doing anything about this. I tries all different # of seconds and 321 instead of 101 which is what the verizon people told me to do, no luck!

This just worked on my NOTE8. First, *#61# Press call to get your voicemail number. Write it down cause you need it.
Second, **61*+(your voicemail number)add the + before your number. And *11*30# Press call. Should say successful. TO CHECK, call *#61#.

I am from Telstra. You can call our contact centre and request to extend the ring duration before it redirects to your messagebank. Cheers!

Many thanks for  sharing this. It has help my wife because every time she tried to answer her phone she would miss the call. I've got now 6 rings instead of the 3 only.
