For Verizon customers, this will not work. I spoke with Tech Support by calling 611. The Tech advised that the number of rings, or the time for an incoming call to transfer to voicemail, is a capability that is dependent on the switching equipment in different areas of the country. Some equipment allows you to change the time, other equipment is fixed. The standard default setting is 30 seconds, or about 6 rings. If you are in a part of the country where this can be changed, it can be extended to 40 seconds, or about 8 rings. I am in Southern California and he was able to make the change for my phone. The Tech also explained that, for my phone to recognize the change, I needed to turn off my phone, wait at least 10 seconds, and then turn it back on. This allows the network to update the phone setting to use the new ring time.

Great video, information shown with clear instructions and results. A smart is dumb, until you learn how to be smarter than it is. That’s when it becomes useful.
Now, April 2021, it is strange to think that a cell phone was something you could make calls or answer calls. Now, with games as useful as adult coloring books, people get several different medical problems by looking at them all day. This includes walking into busy intersections when the light is RED and getting DEAD which is a medical condition! Thanks!

You neglected steps when having to just "hang up" or hit "dismiss" again at the end of certain steps. I know it would seem intuitive but not for everyone. Be slightly more specific for us morons. In the end however it did work. Thanx

Just tried this with the new iPhone mini. When you get to the second step, there is no number that comes up. It does go into the grey screen though.

It doesn’t work at all in the UK. Tried with and without the country code.

Try this one for UK users: again depends on the provider, which have their own code ( example Tesco mobile is 905)
** 61*905*11*number of rings in 5 second increments#
This works😀

Thanks so much
