I had one of these in a truck I worked out of in 1986. I thought it was fantastic at the time. The equipment was quite large and at the antennae was I believe putting out about 3 amps, It had very high drop out due to lack of cmts towers. It cost at the time more than $5000 installed and had to be installed by Telecom technicians. Phone bills were enormous. Eventually moved on to a thing called a TMR which was a lot cheaper.
